Before taking up residence on her granite table top at Brenau’s Gainesville campus, the new golden tiger statue needed a bath. She rode a flatbed trailer from Eagle Bronze Foundry in Lander, Wyo., where she was cast, to Gainesville. Monte Paddleford, the foundry’s owner, drove the statue himself to her new home in the park near the intersection of Green and Academy Streets.
