Jacobs, a 1986 Women’s College graduate and member of Alpha Chi Omega, majored journalism and public relations. She went to work for Jacobs Media as an intern while she was a Brenau student.  Currently she serves in a senior management role at the radio, television and Web news operation. She was recently elected to the Brenau Board of Trustees.
