Rebecca Cantrell Hanik, WC ’04

Rebecca Cantrell Hanik, WC ’04, and husband Tim welcomed their first child, Adelaide Eve Hanik, on July 22, 2013. Addi weighed 8 pounds, and she was 20 inches long. Rebecca and Tim are loving parenthood so far.

Rachel Roe, WC’03

Rachel Roe, WC ’03, accepted a new position on Dec. 1, 2013, at Ford Motor Company headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan. She now serves as the Lincoln communications launch coordinator and works with both the marketing and communications teams on launching new Lincoln products in North America and China.

Paula Ogletree, WC ’03,

Paula Ogletree, WC ’03, was engaged on Feb. 14, 2013, and married Terry Clark on April 25 in Dahlonega, Georgia.

Jillian Forest Peterman, WC ’02

Jillian Forest Peterman, WC ’02,  has been working for Gwinnett county public schools for the past 12 years as a teacher. She recently was selected from 292 applicants for participation in the county aspiring leadership academy, which gives training to teachers to prepare for possible leadership or administrative positions.

Dana Woodburn Rooks, WC ’02

Dana Woodburn Rooks, WC ’02,  was named the new site coordinator for the GiGi’s Playhouse Atlanta location. GiGi’s Playhouse is a Down syndrome awareness center that offers free therapeutic and educational programs to individuals with Down syndrome.
