Rear Adm. Patricia Wolfe, BU ’87

Rear Adm. Patricia Wolfe, BU ’87, retired from the Navy after 32 years of service on Sept. 20, 2013. Prior to retirement, she served as the director of the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Reserve Force since October 2011 at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Wolfe’s Navy career began in 1981 when she received her commission through the Villanova University Navy Reserve Officer Training Corps. After several assignments as a supply officer, she left active duty in 1987 and joined the Navy Reserve as she completed an MBA at Brenau’s program at the Navy’s logistics school that was then based on the campus of the University of Georgia in Athens. Patty Wolfe’s personal decorations include the Legion of Merit with Gold Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Gold Star, Joint Service Achievement Medal and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
