Sara Bashor, WC ’08, was recently honored with the prestigious Laura Snitzer-Boozer Nursing Award by the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This award is given to nurses who have demonstrated professional excellence and leadership in pediatric cancer care. It provides financial support for continued education in the field of oncology. Sara has provided care within the inpatient unit of the Aflac Cancer Center for more than five years. She currently resides in Cumming, Georgia, with her husband and two daughters.
