The 1982 graduate who majored in journalism at the Women’s College is the top news executive for Gainesville, Ga.-based Jacobs Media radio, television and Web entities. The Zeta Tau Alpha member enjoyed a distinguished career in Atlanta radio and corporate advertising before assuming the role in January of news director for Jacobs Media, which comprises WDUN AM & FM/1240, ESPN Radio, and AccessNorthGA.com. She is responsible for anchoring newscasts, as well as supervising a small staff of two full-time news anchor/reporters and six part-time staff members. She also covers government meetings and news events in the North Georgia area.
