Holly Frederick Reynolds, WC ’39, was featured in a blog post entitled “Meeting a Heroine for Animals,” written by the president and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States, Wayne Pacelle. He met Reynolds at an event for his book, The Bond, and found it remarkable to be with a woman who had not only heard his address, but also heard from the HSUS’s first director and its first board chairman more than 50 years ago. Pacelle was deeply touched by Reynolds’ lifetime commitment to the organization, describing her as passionate, modest and determined.
