Two longtime Brenau professors were awarded the title of emeritus/emerita upon their retirements earlier this year.

Vince Yamilkoski, recently retired professor and director of the Learning Center at Brenau, was named professor emeritus, and Patricia Webster, professor of Spanish, was given the title of professor emerita.

The honor of emeritus/emerita comes upon the recommendation of the faculty and the approval of President Ed Schrader and is reserved for faculty members who have served the university with distinction over a period of 10 or more years. Yamilkoski was at Brenau for 38 years and Webster 34.

Benefits include full access to library facilities, use of the fitness center, attendance in regalia at graduation and convocations, a parking permit and the ability to request use of office or lab space.
