Thomas E. Brown, EWC ’90, announced July 17 that he has formed an exploratory committee for a possible campaign for U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia’s 4th Congressional District. Brown has been sheriff of Dekalb County since 2001 and is currently in his fourth term. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Brown for some time has been kicking tires on a possible congressional campaign, which could set up a Democratic primary challenged to four-term incumbent U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson.
