Audrey Blocker, WC ’08, is now a credentialing specialist at Mission Health Systems, Inc., a not-for-profit, independent community hospital system in Asheville, N.C. After graduation, Blocker volunteered for the Peace Corps and spent two years in Panama helping locals expand communication to the outside world. Perhaps the highlight of her sojourn was helping to raise money for and build an actual bridge through a swamp and over a small river that divided a remote community.
