Diana Bjorkman Wade, A ‘97, recently completed a Doctor of Philosophy degree in special education at the University of Kansas. This program focused on secondary special education and transition, and her dissertation was titled Development and Validation of the Transition Coordinators Survey. Wade currently lives in Winter Park, Florida.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Brenau and a master’s degree in administration and policy from the University of Georgia. Candi Dobbs Watson, WC ’90, was given the President’s Service award as the communications coordinator working for the past 15 years at Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando, Florida. LHPS is the fifth-largest independent school in the nation. Watson is the editor of the school magazine, in charge of publicity, social media and photography for the school.
