Starting next year, Brenau becomes a member of the Asheville, North Carolina-based Appalachian Athletic Conference, which gives the Golden Tigers a wide range of intercollegiate sports options, including lacrosse. Brenau University welcomed more than 400 new Women’s College students, including 130 first-year residential students, this fall as it kicked off the 2016-17 academic year with its residential hall “Move-In Day” on Aug. 24.
