‘Multiversity’ on a mission

From horse to water

Occupational therapist Nicole Walker, BU ’01, offers a unique approach for her clients through a combination of equine, aquatic and traditional therapies at a growing business that employs four other Brenau OT graduates.

Using their brains

Two Brenau professors are providing undergraduates in the Women’s College with hands-on experience in a stem cell research project that involves the study of rat brains with the aim of neurological rehabilitation.

A life-changing legacy

A $3.5 million gift from the Melvin Douglas and Victoria Kay Ivester Foundation will transform health sciences education at Brenau, positioning it at the “forefront of reducing human suffering here and across the globe.”
